"I took my first live Belinda class on Instagram at the beginning of the pandemic and was immediately hooked! I looked forward to the live classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and truly believe it is what kept me positive and focused through a very tough time.

Belinda’s classes are challenging but also fun and they go by so fast. As a fellow Barre instructor, I really appreciate her unique combinations and feel she has mastered the perfect balance between cardio, Pilates, ballet, yoga and dance. When you take her classes, it’s obvious Belinda loves what she’s so good at and it shines through every movement. She is a ball of energy and her pleasant voice encourages students to push through, but always keeping the body safe a priority.

She is extremely knowledgeable of the human body and how it moves, and her instruction always include specific, targeted cues that are intended to provide a safe and effective workout, working even the smallest muscles. Amazingly, she does all that while keeping students on beat with the music! She inspires me not just as a student, but as a teacher, and because of her I am looking into becoming certified in Pilates to add to my barre certification.

Belinda is living proof that her method works! She has the ideal ’dancer’s body’ with incredible strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance and since taking her classes I have noticed my body improved in all of those areas.

I am so grateful for the all the classes she gave online for free and I can only imagine that her selfless contribution helped many others like myself to feel upbeat and physically accomplished during a time of so much stress and uncertainty. Although I live in New York, I hope to someday visit the Belinda Gower Studio in Concord and take a real live class!”

I knew that chances were quite low that I would be able to take one of her classes, as I live in Europe, which I felt was such a shame!
